my neighbor and I went to trader joe's after we were full and happy so we would buy less damaging stuff and we got some of these and let me tell you this picture taking is going to curb a lot of eating because it is a pain in MY ASS to have to pull out the camera to take a picture of everything i put in my body. day 1 and I am thinking about fasting for a week already!

so look at this chip and mulitply it by 3 because the new guacamole rice cakes are soooooo good.

Dinner

I did stay away from any of the pasta salads and potato salads at Jason's because I knew I would be having to take a picture! Fat free frozen yogurt and I don't feel guilty about it at all. I have to add this was taking with me and Neighbor both dripping wet from our workouts!

Hopefully tomorrow I will get better about taking pictures of the food!

Lunch

So I just read an article on yahoo.com about 8 power foods that you should try to include in your meals and I wanted to report about what I just consumed. I just want you to know I had no prior knowledge of this and was just going off of cravings!

POWER FOOD: Cherries
Way more than just pie filler, cherries are the piece de resistance of the fruit world. They have more flavonoids, aka powerful antioxidants, than almost any other food analyzed by the USDA. Cherries, both sweet and tart, are particularly rich in anthocyanins, micronutrients that may jump-start the immune system and mop up disease-causing free radicals. What this means: They may have the ability to ward off cancer. Other research suggests they may also reduce inflammation associated with arthritis and gout.

POWER FOOD: Mushrooms
They're low in calories and are a top plant source of B-complex vitamins, including riboflavin, which helps keep skin healthy and eyesight sharp. They also leave other produce in the dust when it comes to selenium, an antioxidant that may protect against some cancers. And according to a study from researchers at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, mushrooms contain betaglucan and chitin, two types of fiber that absorb fat and whisk it out of the blood, lowering your risk for heart disease. All mushrooms offer benefits, but the big winner is the meaty portobello. It's high in selenium and potassium.

POWER FOOD: Sunflower seeds
With 25 percent more vitamin E than almonds, sunflower seeds are the new go-to snack for reducing the risk for heart disease and stroke. Vitamin E may also fight inflammation, which can lead to joint pain and cartilage deterioration. Only 4 tablespoons of dried seeds provide 12 milligrams of vitamin E--that's 80 percent of your daily needs. They're also full of fiber, healthy fats, protein and iron. Make sure to choose the unsalted type--the salted version may taste great, but they're higher in sodium.

Smile.......you're on Camera!

I've been good for a while but I've got to kick it up a notch! Bottom line is I am tired of being big. I know I am cute and all that bull but seriously I am still big and I am tired of it!

So I've decided to kick this up a notch and really watch what I eat. My friend came to visit me this weekend while I was at the Jersey Shore. Have you ever had one of those friends that from the time you met her you knew you were meant to be friends with her....well that is how CoachOne is to me. I am calling her CoachOne because of our love for Coach purses but also our ability to coach each other on situations that happen in life.

Anyway...I was talking to CoachOne how I wanted to kick it up a notch and telling her about how I had heard about taking pictures of everything you eat that week. She said "try it and you need to get back on your blog." So......this week that is what I am going to do!

Also, WildOne reported this morning that she has to have her gall bladder removed so giving up drinking is going to very easy for the month of August! (I will prove you all wrong and make you feel bad for laughing at that one) and we both hung up very excited about doing fun things that don't involve drinking!

So this morning I forgot to take a picture of what I had for breakfast so I stole from the internet! This should be interesting and thanks to CoachOne for the pep talk on Saturday.......so love you!
